Thank you for this reminder to dive back into the somewhat intimidating Catafalque! I feel like this question mentioned in one of the book's blurbs is very much linked to the moon's landscape (moonscape?): In this remarkable study, Peter Kingsley engages with a question Carl Jung describes as the most telling of one’s life: ‘Are you related to something infinite or not?’
I'd be very grateful for some guidance for June's, and the moon's, landscape. My rising sign is Cancer, and my question is - how can I carve out space amid ordinary chaos, for the daily ritual/devotion that allows space for answering that question (are you related to something infinite or not) with "yes." Thank you <3
Loved this conversation! Thank you Cameron & Meg for another thought provoking episode. (Fyi, the sound cuts out during the last few minutes). Keep riffing off each other, it works! From the very beginning of my tarot practice I've loved drawing The Moon card and always held positive associations with it. It is such a privilege to dwell in the temple of the moon when our culture negates her qualities so much. My Venus in Capricorn welcomes a little lunacy! That said the fear is real, and my Moon in Aries reminds me - when you're devoted to the Moon, reach for the Sun.
Thanks for this feedback, Mel, and for listening in! I’d love to hear more about your experiences with the Moon, particularly the positive ones! I also love the idea of dwelling with the moon as part of what inspires one to reach for the sun—very generative for me too!
