'The Silent Knowing'

What if the feeling of lack in your life is the first and deepest sign of a fulfillment that is already yours? What if your longing for a better world is based on a truth you’ve always already known, rather than only delusion or naïveté? What if it’s possible to know who and what you are, despite the anxieties of the age and its algorithms?
If any of these questions appeal to you, please join me and fellow spiritual practitioner and teacher Justin Little on a six-week online retreat for the cost of of a fancy mocktail. Beginning August 16, we’ll spend six weeks reading, discussing, and practicing Alan Chapman’s Magia, a text that arises from the tradition behind traditions, the golden thread that connects prophet-magicians from the ancient past, including Parmenides and Marguerite Porete, to those of modernity, including C.G. Jung, Aleister Crowley, and Chapman himself.
What: An online, six-week retreat where we’ll learn and practice the meditation practices in Alan Chapman’s Magia, read the Magia text together, and meet on Zoom each Sunday for a lecture, conversation, and Q&A led by Justin Little and/or Cameron Steele.
A community discord will be maintained for logging our practices, managing conversation, and post links to the Zoom calls, recordings, and other resources.
Who: The retreat is open to advanced practitioners and those new to meditation, the Western Magickal Tradition, and/or Magia, alike. It’s also for anyone interested in reading Magia, learning the practices, and taking a daily practice vow together.
When: Sunday, August 16 through Sunday, September 20. We’ll meet every Sunday on Zoom at 2 pm ET/12 pm MT to discuss that week’s section of Magia, the practice instructions for whatever we’re currently focused on, and to answer questions that arise throughout.
Cost: $22 per person
